The Problem: Hard Work Doesn't Always Equal Results

Most Irish dancers work hard. But hard work without structure leads to:

Not because you don’t care.

Not because you didn’t practice.

But because no one showed you how to build performance the right way.

Too many dancers:

And then Oireachtas exposes it.

The stage doesn’t create weakness. It reveals what was (or wasn’t) built.

The Solution: If You Want a Different Result, You Need a Different Framework

Doing more of the same won’t create a breakthrough.

A structured performance system will.

Most dancers don’t plateau because they lack effort.

They plateau because their preparation lacks structure.

Performance isn’t built by stacking random workouts. It’s built by developing the right qualities, at the right time, in the right progression.

Here’s the framework:

The Framework

When you follow a structured performance framework: Strength supports power. Power supports consistency. Consistency builds confidence. And you stop guessing. You start progressing.

Phase 1: Strength & Capacity

Build Your Movement Foundation

Before speed improves…
Before jumps get lighter…
Before rounds feel easier…

Your body has to produce more force. This is where we:

  • Build unilateral lower body strength
  • Strengthen hips and deep core muscles for more control and stability
  • Improve landing control and joint stability
  • Increase true muscular capacity

This phase raises your ceiling.

Because you can’t develop power if you don’t have a strong base.

Phase 2: Power & Performance

Turn Strength Into Speed

Strength alone doesn’t win rounds.

Power does.

This is where we:

  • Train faster force production
  • Improve jump height
  • Develop quicker ground contact
  • Improve repeatability under fatigue

This is when dancers start saying:

“My dancing feels lighter.”

Because now your body isn’t just strong.

It’s explosive.

Phase 3: Peak, Maintain & Refine

Protect the Performance You Built

This is where most dancers panic.

They add more conditioning.
They push harder.
They try to “feel ready” by exhausting themselves.

That’s backwards.

Instead, we:

  • Reduce unnecessary volume
  • Maintain intensity
  • Protect nervous system freshness
  • Keep output sharp
  • Fine-tune for competition

So you don’t walk into Nationals feeling tired.

You walk in feeling prepared.

Choose Your Performance Emphasis

Every dancer in Built For Oireachtas trains full-body strength, power, and peak preparation. Everyone builds force. Everyone develops explosiveness. Everyone improves stamina and flexibility. But performance breakthroughs often come from emphasizing the right weak link. That’s why you’ll choose one primary performance track,  the area we’ll specialize in while still developing the whole athlete.

🔹 Turnout & Crossing

For dancers who struggle with turnout and crossing range and consistency.

This track emphasizes:

  • Inner thigh strength and endurance
  • Hip stability and control
  • Hip mobility for improved turnout range
  • True crossing strength and mobility (not forced positioning)

When turnout and crossing are strong, everything looks cleaner.

🔹 Arching & Toe Height

For dancers who want strong, pointy feet and “who the heck is that dancer?!” level toe height.

This track emphasizes:

  • Calf strength
  • Foot and ankle control
  • Single-leg stability
  • Arch strength and ankle range

Because consistent toe height and arching isn’t about endless calf raises or piling on stretches.

It’s about creating the strength and control that allow you to get higher, point further, and maintain it through every round.

🔹 Posture & Arms

For dancers whose upper body makes their dancing look “sloppy and wobbly” vs. polished and strong.

This track emphasizes:

  • Upper back strength
  • Core stability
  • Rib control and alignment
  • Upper body mobility to pull shoulders back and down
  • Postural strength through full rounds

Strong posture changes how everything looks.

More presence.
More control.
More confidence.

Important: You’re Not Ignoring the Rest

Even if you choose a specific track, you still train:

The track simply determines where we place extra attention.

Because sometimes it’s not about doing more.

It’s about strengthening the one thing holding everything else back.

Frequently Asked Questions

Each session is about 30–40 minutes.

They’re designed to fit into a busy dance schedule — not take it over. You should finish feeling worked, not wrecked.

A gym is ideal if you have one,  it allows us to build strength and power more effectively.

But if you don’t? That’s completely okay. We provide a full at-home version with no weights required, so you can still follow the system and make real progress.

You’ll train 5 days per week.

That may sound like a lot, but sessions are efficient and purposeful. The structure changes as we move through the 12 weeks so you’re not just repeating the same thing over and over.

Fierce For Nationals is designed for dancers age 12 and up.

Younger dancers have different developmental needs, and this program is built for athletes ready to train with more structure and responsibility.

No, and that’s intentional.

Fierce For Nationals is a structured group performance system. You’ll follow a phased plan with one focused track and group coaching support.

1:1 coaching includes fully individualized programming, custom adjustments, and direct access to your coach.

If you need that level of personalization, 1:1 is a better fit. If you’re ready for structured, strategic preparation in a group format,  Fierce For Nationals is perfect.

That’s completely normal.

This program is built to support your dance training, not compete with it. We focus on building strength and power without adding unnecessary fatigue.

Many dancers find they actually feel better in class once they’re training with structure.

If you’re currently dealing with an injury that requires personalized modifications, 1:1 coaching would be a better option.

Fierce For Nationals follows a structured plan and isn’t designed as a rehab program.

No problem.

All calls are recorded and shared, so you can watch when it works for your schedule.

The goal is the opposite.

The program is intentionally phased so you build early and sharpen later. As Nationals approaches, volume decreases and we focus on maintaining sharpness, not creating exhaustion.

You should feel prepared, not overworked.

If you follow the program consistently, you can expect to feel:

  • More explosive
  • More stable
  • Less fatigued late in rounds
  • More confident in your preparation

Results always depend on consistency, but the structure gives your effort direction.

August 24th and the program runs for 12 weeks.

NOTE: Dancers will have access to the program until December 7th (until all regions are done with their Oireachtas).

Enrollment closes before we begin on August 3rd so everyone starts together and onboarding runs smoothly.

397usd for all 10 weeks

Because this is a digital performance program with immediate access to all materials, all sales are final.
