2 LIVE Zoom Classes Each Week

Hop on zoom with Jeanne 2x every week for 30 minutes for a live training class. We will be covering strength, mobility work, and technique exercises to help you make big improvements in your turnout, foot placement, and control. You will also get access to ALL replays. This round of classes are Sunday and Wednesdays at 6:30pm central time.

Laser Focus On Turnout, Crossing, and Core Strength

As a young dancer, mastering the basics is what's most important. In this session, we will be laser focusing on helping you achieve your personal best turnout and crossing. In addition to your classes, you will be assigned 2-3 exercises to work on for homework each week.

Printable Practice and Homework Tracker

Each Feis Fit Athlete will receive a printable calendar to help them track their Feis Fit homework and practicing.

Built-In Fun "Theme" Classes

In classes we work hard, but we also like to sprinkle in some fun! That's why some weeks we have built-in theme weeks. Some of our theme weeks include: Disney Week, Beach Party Week, and More!

Masterclasses to Improve Your Practice Habits, Mindset, Nutrition Habits, and More!

Feis Fit Juniors Athletes get access to all masterclasses in that the older dancers get access to. For our masterclasses, we bring in guest experts including mindset coaches, dietitians, and more!

Feis Warmup Help

One of the biggest mistakes younger dancers make is not warming up for Feis day. Feis Fit Junior Athletes will receive guidance on how to warmup properly to perform your best on competition day.

No Goal Is Too Big If You're Willing To Work For it!

As your coach, I'm constantly researching the best techniques for improving dance performance, power, mindset, technique, and injury prevention. My goal is to not just throw generic exercises at you (you can honestly just google a random fitness plan), but rather master Irish Dance strength and conditioning training so every dancer has the opportunity to reach and surpass their dancing dreams! I've helped dancers achieve Oireachtas goals from getting that first recall to winning their first major championship. I truly believe that there is no goal too big if you're willing to work for it!

About Jeanne

My name is Jeanne Weller, and I fell in love with Irish Dancing at age 6. Throughout my dancing career I competed in many regional, national, and world championships both individually and on teams. After my years as a competitor, I decided to focus on the fitness piece required for excellent dancing that many dancers miss. I started by getting certified in group fitness and personal training as a senior in high-school and spending my summer working at a world renowned youth fitness camp,  went on to earn a bachelor’s degree in Exercise and Fitness, and NOW continuously absorb everything I can about how dancers, young athletes, and humans of all kinds train for optimal performance. In addition to my education, I've trained for several athletic endeavors beyond dancing to learn more about how the body works including: running cross-country in college, marathon running, cross-fit, competing in NPC fitness competitions, and mountaineering. I am very passionate about learning how the human body works and how to combine strength and conditioning principles with Irish Dance movement patterns to help every dancer reach their full potential. While I was in college, I began experimenting with customized dancer training programs as well as running Irish Dance boot camps in Central Ohio.

In 2016 my fitness career brought me to Milwaukee, WI, where I have been blessed with the opportunity to do what I love — helping good Irish Dancers become excellent! Feis Fit in Milwaukee started September 2016, and it has been wild to see how much it has grown! 

While some Irish Dancers businesses may focus more on sponsoring champions, I prefer creating them. Some goals I've helped dancers achieve are:

  • Recalling at the Oireachtas
  • Moving up many placements at Feiseanna and major competitions
  • Qualifying for first Worlds
  • Winning their first major championship including Oireachtas, Nationals, and Worlds

Awards aside, at Feis Fit I truly believe that learning to enjoy the journey and challenges of Irish Dancing in a positive supportive community is the MOST important part of dancing. We were made to connect, grow, and help each other…and THAT is what makes Feis Fit truly great.

Frequently Asked Questions

1.) What is the price of the program?

300usd for all 10 weeks. Can be paid in full or 2 payments.

2.) What equipment do I need?

A set of therabands (heavy and light), yoga mat, and 2 yoga blocks.

3.) What ages do you recommend for the program?

8-11

4.) What days/times are classes? ​

Sunday and Wednesday 6:30-7pm central time

5.) What dates does the program run? ​

January 9th-March 20th

6.) We live in the UK so can't make that specific time. Can we still join?

Yes, you'll just do all of the replay videos and will have the same homework. If there is enough interest in adding another class for UK time zones, I'd love to add another earlier class time in the future. Please email me at [email protected] to let me know.

7.) My dancer wants to join but she can only make it to one class. Can they still join?  ​

Yep! They can do the second class replay video and will have the same homework.

8.) How long will homework take?   ​

At this age, the goal is learning to help dancers simply be CONSISTENT with homework so exercises for homework will be between 5-10 minutes.

9.) My dancer need to practice more but I feel like they don't know how to practice? Will this help with that?  ​

100%! Something I'll be working on in this program is not just cross-training but learning good all around training HABITS! We'll be talking about how to practice with intention, how to track practicing (dancers will get a practice tracker), and their homework will include daily practicing.
